BT range is very decent! The visual feedback of switching on/off and connecting is a nice addition. Connecting to iPhone/ iPad and even iMac is a breeze. It already radiates the premium quality of this speaker. So if you like light shows and good sound then this JBL is for you! The most important thing is, of course, the sound and JBL has simply delivered craftsmanship again. I haven't been able to turn it off, but it may be possible. To be honest, I only played with it a bit at the beginning but soon left it on the same light show because I just didn't feel the need to adjust it. I personally did not think the light had any added value. Lots of different colors and patterns that you can also have one after the other up to a maximum of three. There are many possibilities with regard to the light show. The most important addition to this JBL is of course the light shows. This one is very hard to see (five very small dots above the on/off button) so it might as well not be there.
The last annoyance is the battery indicator. The reason for this is of course the fact that the JBL is waterproof, but that doesn't make it any less annoying. The connections for the JBL are behind a protective cap, but this cap cannot be opened with your bare hands. You have to put a lot of pressure so that you always have to grab the JBL with your other hand, which in turn results in spots on the light part. However, the controls on the JBL itself are very stiff.

In terms of ease of use, I must say that connecting with bluetooth is fast and smooth. Both the high and low tones are pleasant to the ears and it does not necessarily matter which music style you prefer. At first glance, the actual speaker seems on the small side (about 1/3 of the whole) but as soon as you hear the sound you know that it is good. It comes in a nice box and everything is well packed. The JBL Pulse 3 is a fine speaker with many possibilities. I assume this is covered under warranty if it bothers you.Īll in all a big 9, and technically in perfect order. It looks like a dead pixel, but it must be a piece of dust. Also less that there is a black dot on the display. The sound was immediately forwarded, and the music blasted from the speaker of my favorite Spotify playlist "Coffee Club". Not knowing what to expect, I carefully turned on the Pulse 3 and connected it to my iPhone without any problems. I am completely fascinated by beautiful LED lighting such as the Philips Hue, and have fallen completely in love with the beautiful, bright lighting of the Pulse 3! Compared to the Pulse 3 a huge improvement. "WOW!" That was the first thing that came to mind when I first turned on the JBL Pulse 3 and was presented with a beautiful light show.
